This week Caitlyn, Sam and I attended the Connective Lender Splendour for updates on broking and learnt about how scammers are targeting brokers’ clients. Watch our video to learn how to protect yourself should you or we get hacked.
We caught up with many of our Business Development Managers at the banks – see photos below and I won a prize for correctly answering a quiz on loans.
One thing we also learnt was how banks are using AI to review who we say you are by reviewing your social media presence – they know who you live with, how many children and an enormous amount of data on your spending by watching what you post.
They also note “Impossible Travel” so if you complete a bank transaction when in Melbourne then someone uses your account in China they will know it is not you and block it which is good to know.
